Office interiors in London 'perform well in June'

Profits from office space growth in London improved in June, new research has revealed.
The CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Monthly Index showed commercial property of this type outperformed other sectors including retail and industrial blocks, with office interiors in the innermost parts of London proving particularly popular.
"This relative strength was again thanks to a strong month for Central London offices," it remarked.
According to the results, total returns for office interiors in this area were 1.8 per cent, while capital values experienced a 1.3 per cent rise.
Economics and investment senior analyst for CBRE Nick Parker said the "greater improvement" seen in the capital's markets has seen it overcome some of the difficulties witnessed in other regions across the UK.
In June, the organisation claimed central London rental growth has been driven by tight supply in recent months and will continue to do so for the remainder of the year, despite a slight increase in availability.
