The BBC is tendering for office investment partners to join it in the upkeep of the 14-acre Television Centre in London.
Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is acting as the agent on any potential deal, with the BBC aiming to maximise the value of the property, which includes production areas, office interior space and is a creative hub for talent in the UK broadcasting field.
Ezra Nahome, chief executive officer of LSH, said: "London has fast become the world capital for prime investment and development opportunities. Television Centre is attracting considerable attention due to its iconic status, superb location and versatility."
Andrew Horne, media and communications manager at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently noted that firms looking for a vibrant city in which to set up office interior space have been advised that London is the place to be.
He added that the key selling points of the capital continue to be the availability of a quality workforce, favourable time zones and a stable legal system.
