Office agent Cushman & Wakefield has announced 6,000 sq ft of office space at Zebra Court in Chadderton, Oldham, has been let to ADT Workplace.

The scheme is run by Marshall CDP and charges £145 per sq ft rental costs. Other tenants at the property include building company J Greenwood.

Jonathan Baucher of Cushman & Wakefield said: "We have seen a steady rise in demand from owner occupiers over the last few months as new office accommodation of a high standard is no longer as readily available."

He added that consequently, two other units at the site are presently under offer and the company has received serious interest about further lettings in the near future.

Elsewhere, Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund recently received the green light for development by local planners at its One St Peter's Square project in the heart of Manchester.

The scheme will incorporate a new 270,000 sq ft modern office design building, with individual office spaces rising to 22,500 sq ft.
