Two properties in London are to undergo office refurbishment programmes following approval by the Crown Estate.
The project will see the creation of an additional 200,000 sq ft of office space at two buildings on Regent Street, although as yet, no set date for occupation of the developments has been set.
Head of Regent Street portfolio at the Crown Estate David Shaw commented: "We welcome the decision by Westminster City Council. These proposals will regenerate the area and revive these historic buildings in line with the Regent Street brand values of quality, heritage, style and success."
Mr Shaw added that the organisation's aim continues to be the improvement of the area for both local businesses and residents.
Elsewhere in the capital, Hong Kong property company Chinese Estates is set to move into new office accommodation in the city.
Property Week reported that the firm is looking to buy Tower 42 for more than £300 million. Sources close to the situation told the publication that negotiations are now close to being finalised.
