Plans to redevelop a Swindon building into office space have been revealed.
UK Commercial Property Trust (UKCPT) is to carry out office refurbishment work at Falcon House, which will include 45,000 square feet of Grade A office space.
The 50-year-old building was formerly the home of Zurich financial firm, but UKCPT hopes that many other companies will be interested in renting space in the facility.
UKCPT has appointed Ignis Real Estate to advise it on the investment, with spokesman Robert Boag saying that the project is "an integral part of our vision to transform this corner of the town centre".
Improvements for the New Falcon building include plans to have a glazed facade and entrance canopy, convenient access to a car park and raised access floors.
Once the development is complete, 7,500 square feet of office space will be let out.
Elsewhere, office refurbishment work at Warwick House in Old Trafford has been completed.
The six-storey building has a range of office space available, including upwards of four-person suites.
