Office relocation boost for Manchester development

Didsbury Point office scheme in south Manchester has had two new lettings agents appointed to it in order to boost office interior uptake at the development, it has been revealed.
Liberty Property Trust - the owners of the development - have appointed P3 Property Consultants and Knight Frank as its new agents and are hoping for some swift action to fill the 238,125 sq ft development.
Previous agents for the office park were Jones Lang Lasalle and Edwards & Co.
In total, the scheme comprises of five office blocks, however, until now many of the buildings have failed to attract a single tenant.
Paul Rubincam, director at Liberty Property Trust UK, said: "We want to signal loud and clear that we are here to do deals."
Elsewhere in the city, Manchester city council recently announced that is to relocate more than 1,400 workers to Ask Development's Number One First Street development while the main council buildings are undergoing a £175 million office refurbishment project.
