The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) has given a £400,000 grant to Open Eye Gallery for the company's move to new office interior space at Liverpool's Mann Island.
Working with Neptune Developments, the gallery is to take up residence in 3,770 sq ft of modern office design space at the site, which is located in Liverpool's waterfront area.
Nick Brooks-Sykes, director of tourism at NWDA, added: "The relocation to Mann Island will put the Open Eye in a prime location in the heart of Liverpool's cultural and tourism offer, enabling it to reach a much wider audience."
Elsewhere in the region, construction firm Kier Facilities Services - the maintenance and facilities division of Kier Group - has announced plans to move into new modern office design space at Trafford Park in Manchester.
The Basingstoke-based company is setting up its fifth regional office and hopes to increase its influence in the region through this move.
