Office relocation 'need not be rushed'

Businesses planning an office relocation in the New Year have been advised that the process of moving office space need not be too fraught and can be made easier with some simple tips.
According to Javaria Akbar on the Need Office Space blog, maintaining a close eye on the moving budget is highly recommended - as an over-spend in this area can make setting up the new office that much more stressful.
Furthermore, there can be a lot of last minute items - such as keys for drawers or lockers, codes for security, etc - that get lost in the move, but to avoid this place these items in clearly labelled envelopes and keep them safe.
Ms Akbar also recently noted in a separate blog post that firms should make a detailed plan well ahead of a potential move as this will help tackle any issues before they arise.
She added that delegating tasks and ensuring members of staff are aware of their responsibilities will make the moving process that much easier.
