Investment management company Orchard Street has announced the purchase of an office building in Uxbridge, Middlesex.
The firm paid £19.2 million for Capital Court, a 57,000 sq ft office interior building, which is currently let to recruitment agency Manpower UK and Iliffes Booth Bennett, a firm of solicitors.
Net yield on the property is believed to be 6.6 per cent per annum.
Chris Bartram, chairman of Orchard Street, said: "Capital Court combines an excellent blend of building quality, current market rent, long lease length, secure income and a prime location."
Elsewhere, Naomi Heaton, chief executive of London Central Portfolio, recently said a glut of prime modern office design space remains available in London.
She noted the fact that many new developments have been put on hold in recent months and are now waiting to get back on track means the months ahead could see many opportunities for investment in the capital.
