Businesses have been advised that ensuring office space is kept in a well organised manner can be one the best ways to ensure efficiency is maintained at a satisfactory level.
According to Javaris Akbar on the Need Office Space blog, office design can help people become more organised and this, in turn, can boost efficiency and staff wellbeing.
Companies which provide their workers with areas to remove waste and to - even better - recycle can ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy and that more can be achieved each day as a result.
He noted: "Organisation is a key requirement to making sure that everything you need for a successful day's work is close at hand."
Elsewhere, Richard Kauntze, chief executive officer of the British Council for Offices, recently noted that companies should be aware of the important role that office design can play in promoting adaptability and flexibility in the workforce.
