An extension of the planning permission for a 110,000 sq ft office project at Wooley Grange in Maidenhead has been accepted.
Office construction work at the Scottish and Southern Energy development can now get underway any time within the next four years: the original permit was due to expire in January 2012.
"We presented a strong case that the applications should be treated favourably and had very good reasons for seeking a longer period in which to begin the scheme," commented director of development and residential consulting at Scottish and Southern Energy Steve Walters.
He added that work is now unlikely to get underway until sometime in 2011, at the earliest.
Elsewhere in the region, commercial property agent MERJS recently announced that Bedford House on John Street in the Bloomsbury area of London will soon be offering new office space following refurbishment at the premises.
As such, the firm is expecting considerable interest in the property when new leases are signed in December.
