Planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates has announced it is to open its tenth UK office.
The company presently operates in a host of major UK cities, including Manchester, London and Glasgow, with this newest venture opening in Cardiff in order to capitalise on demand for the business in Wales.
At present, the company is carrying out a number of projects in Wales - including residential extensions in Newport and the design of renewable energy platforms in Port Talbot - and this new office will therefore facilitate these goals.
Office director at Turley Rob Peters said: "We felt that the time was right to open a Welsh base to strengthen our current relationships and support our ambition to grow our offering in Wales."
The company was founded in Manchester in 1983 and specialises in planning and consultancy. It opened its first regional offices in 2001 and today employs more than 180 members of staff.
