Ladder manufacturer Lyte Industries is relieved to be able to carry out a move to its new £8 million headquarters in Neath, Port Talbot.
The company has sold its former office interior space in Ystradgynlais, Powys to supermarket chain Tesco, which is set to demolish the property and create a new store at the development.
Lyte Industries managing director Paul Lewis said: "This is a win-win outcome for Ystradgynlais and for employment opportunities in our part of south Wales."
He added the decision to allow the sale of the company's former office property to Tesco has helped to secure the future of the business for years to come.
Elsewhere, Crain's Manchester Business recently reported the Home Office has signed a 25-year lease for office space at Birchwood Park in Warrington.
The government department is setting up a regional hub of operations at the site and will be taking on 55,000 sq ft of office space.
