A project to carry out an office refurbishment is set to get underway tomorrow (September 24th).
The scheme will see Ammanford Police's public-facing office be refurbished to offer more modern facilities, the South Wales Guardian reports.
Carmarthenshire customer services manager Lynwen Thomas told the newspaper: "This work is all part of our programme to professionalise our customer service."
The office refurbishment scheme is designed to make the space more "appealing, accessible and comfortable," she said.
Aside from being able to make office space more appealing, carrying out an office refurbishment project can help any business to make better use of available space and create an environment conducive to work.
Ms Thomas added that the work to professionalise operations comes as part of a response to the public to provide more effective services.
The project highlights the fact that both public-facing organisations and private businesses may be able to benefit from an effective office refurbishment.
