Serviced office provider Regus has opened a new business centre in Manchester's Spinningfields development.
The opening is the company's first in Manchester since the economic downturn began and the firm's eighth development to be set up in the city in total.
Facilities at the new development include videoconferencing suites, flexible working space and a range of other services to meet a company's business needs, the firm stated.
Mark Dixon, group chief executive of Regus, said: "By introducing flexible workplace strategies Regus enables clients to reduce overall facilities expenses, typically a company's second largest fixed-line item, by up to 60 per cent."
Elsewhere in the city, Manchester Evening News recently reported that marketing and public relations firm McCann Erickson Communications House has relocated its head offices to Basil Chambers, on High Street, in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.
The company has taken out a five-year lease on the building, which offers 3,146 sq ft of grade A office interior space.
