Office design news from Morgan Lovell

The former headquarters of Rolls-Royce in Sefton, Liverpool is to undergo a massive refurbishment by Royal London Asset Management next year.
LDP Business has reported that Malin House is to receive a £7 million refurbishment which will create up to 36,000 sq ft of office interior design, which will hopefully be ready for occupation in autumn 2009.
Nigel Lax, of Industrial Securities, which represents Royal London Asset Management, said: "There's been a real need for high-quality office space and this building is clearly meeting demand.
"The site's excellent location, major transport links and prominent frontage make this
prime space for a wide variety of businesses."
Meanwhile, the newspaper recently reported that approximately 600 Ministry of Defence members of staff are to relocate to a new office interior in Liverpool city centre in the next few months.
Walker House is to become the new home for these workers following its £15 million refurbishment by the joint-venture partnership of UK Land & Property and Pochin.
