The office refurbishment undertaken by Leeds Building Society is to earn royal approval, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.
According to the news provider, the Duke of York is to attend an event to mark the completion of the office refurbishment project.
He will also formally reopen the headquarters of the financial services provider.
The event marks the completion of the office refurbishment in Albion Street, with senior managers and company directors due to attend.
Operations director for the building society Peter Hill tells the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Our building dates back to the 1930s and, although it had been regularly updated, it needed a complete overhaul."
He adds that the organisation considered moving out of the city but ultimately opted to refurbish its existing headquarters instead.
Leeds Building Society explains that, while it was officially formed in 1875, its history began 30 years earlier as the Leeds Union Operative Land and Building Society.
