Saga to purchase Hastings office space

Insurance provider Saga Group has announced the intended purchase of new office space in Hastings.
Situated at One Priory Square in the town centre, the property is set to be opened in the new year, with the company becoming the town's largest private employer if all goes to plan.
Roger Ramsden, chief executive, Saga Insurance, said: "Hastings is an ideal location. Priory Square is in the town centre and has good public transport links and the building will provide a great working environment. We aim to attract, train and keep the best talent that Hastings has to offer."
Saga will continue to operate from its headquarters in Folkestone, but will manage up to 800 call centre and support staff in Hastings.
Elsewhere, Place North West reports higher education company Global Graduates recently announced an office relocation to new premises in Manchester. The firm has taken 7,300 sq ft of office space at Brook House on Fountain Street.
