International real estate advisor Savills has signed a 15-year lease for office space at Belvedere in Manchester.
The firm has taken on 13,700 sq ft of grade A office interior space at the premises and will move from its present home at Fountain Court on April 21st this year.
Owned by Orchard Street Investment Management, Belvedere offers more than 104,000 sq ft of office space in total, although the property is reaching capacity, with space now only available in areas of the ground and fifth floors.
Andrew Jenkins of Orchard Street said: "We are delighted to welcome Savills to the building. This letting provides further testimony to the quality of Belvedere and its location within Manchester's prime office core."
Elsewhere, letting agent GVA Grimley recently predicted that 2011 will be a positive year for the north-west office sector.
The organisation noted that the completion of major developments in the region - such as Salford's MediaCity UK complex - will help boost office demand and uptake.
