Serviced office space demand increasing
21-08-2008
Many businesses are choosing to move to serviced office interiors, according to an industry professional.Jennifer Brooke, executive director of the Business Centre Association, told Choregus that the current economic climate is forcing businesses to reconsider their outgoings and focus on making savings in office layouts.
Cost-effective ways of managing office interiors are becoming hot topics for commercial business as the economic downturn is squeezing overheads and putting pressure on office expenses.
She notes that some of the advantages of serviced office rentals include flexible options to increase or decrease floor space, telephony services and access to conference facilities and meeting rooms.
In related news, it was recently reported that office rental costs could fall by up to 20 per cent in the next two years.
Choregus claims that a report by the British Council of Offices shows facilities in the capital are currently 70 per cent higher than other major cities around the world, including Mumbai, Moscow and Tokyo.
