Severn Trent Water has completed the topping out ceremony at its new modern office interior building on St John Street in Coventry.
In total, the building will provide 170,000 sq ft of modern office design space for the company and will house up to 1,700 members of staff.
The development has cost the company approximately £60 million and is due to be fully completed early next year, while the topping out ceremony marked completion of the first phase of development last week.
"It marks a new beginning for Severn Trent and embodies what we're about. It demonstrates our credentials in terms of environmental and quality standards," commented Severn Trent Water chief executive Tony Wray.
Elsewhere, the British Council for Offices recently awarded the Kings Place office development in London's King's Cross its best development of the year prize.
The structure incorporated modern office design features alongside a number of sustainable office design practices to achieve the coveted award.
