European recycling company Shanks has announced plans to carry out an office relocation to the Easter Queenslie scheme in Scotland.
The company has signed a ten-year lease for 5,000 sq ft of modern office interior space at the development and noted that this move will allow the business to save £237,000 in empty rates at their decommissioned Rechem incineration plant near Pontypool.
Glasgow-based surveyor Jennifer Addis, of Gerald Eve, said: "This acquisition was imperative in allowing Shanks to continue with its ongoing plans to redevelop their Blochairn site to provide additional recycling facilities."
Elsewhere in Scotland, Avec Corp recently announced that is to carry out its own office relocation project by moving its headquarters to facilities at the Aircargo Centre at Glasgow International Airport.
The company is to take up 10,000 sq ft of grade A office interior space at the premises and has signed a ten-year lease costing £50,050 per annum.
