Shopatron announces new Swindon office layout

The e-commerce solutions firm Shopatron is set to initiate an office layout overhaul as it establishes an operating centre in Swindon, it has emerged.

Shopatron, which is headquartered in California, is keen to build its European client base. Consequently it intends to commence operations in a new office building in the town, which lies 80 miles west of London.

Explaining some of the reasons behind its office refit and move into European markets, the company has cited Forrester Research figures that show online shopping across the continent is set for a dramatic boost over the next few years.

"The new office in Swindon equips us to smoothly transition the solution to our manufacturers' global retailers," said Shaun Moores, Shopatron's European general manager.

"At the same time, Shopatron is positioned to grow its own business working with UK-based manufacturers."

Shopatron's customers come from more than 30 distinct industry sectors and the company claims to have established itself as one of the foremost providers of "integrated e-commerce solutions" in the world.
