Companies in York are set to benefit from the construction of new short-term office interior space in the city.
Local paper The Press reported that the new £2 million facility at Apollo House, next to the Monkgate roundabout, in Heworth Green will offer up to 15,000 sq ft of modern office design space for use by companies on a short-term basis.
Andrew Walls, finance director of the property group Monument Investments - which owns Prospect Business Centres - told the paper: "At Apollo House, we will be providing clients with high-quality fully furnished accommodation backed up by the latest IT and telecoms systems and other services."
Elsewhere in the region, Property Executive recently reported that new modern office design space is being created in Wakefield as part of plans to develop a new Driving Standards Agency centre in the city.
Up to 2,100 sq ft of modern office design space for use by staff and learners has been earmarked for the development, alongside a number of large outdoor areas for practical examinations.
