Small changes 'could bring about sustainable offices'
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

A small change in the behaviour of individuals could help companies improve their sustainable office design credentials in the years ahead, it has been claimed.
Maria Wardrobe, director of communications at National Energy Action, said these changes can help the country move toward a greener future, with sustainable office design and responsible practices being at the forefront of cutting back on carbon output.
She commented: "Small changes in behaviour, such as making sure appliances are turned off at the wall [and] turning lights off ... may seem insignificant, but when brought together can make a difference."
Ms Wardrobe added that employers should also look into taking out grants to improve the efficiency of their heating systems.
According to Michael Shanks, chief technology officer of Ultraspeed, the simple truth is that improving sustainability in the UK is often down to workers and their behaviour, rather than business leaders and high-fluted rhetoric.
