A £500 million mixed-use development is to get underway on its second phase of construction in the coming months.
Office construction is to get underway at the Snowhill project in Birmingham, with developer Ballymore Group hoping to have Two Snowhill completed by late 2012.
The property will provide 310,867 sq ft of Grade A office space over 14 floors, with 60 per cent already let on a 20-year pre-lease to Wragge & Co. Overall, 118,000 sq ft remain available at the site.
Richard Probert, project director at Ballymore, said: "Snowhill has already proved itself as providing the highest quality buildings in the city, as well as attracting the major occupiers."
Ballymore is a commercial and residential real estate developer and is presently carrying out a number of projects across the UK and Ireland, including Baltimore Wharf in London, Royal Canal Park in Dublin, High Point in Hayes, Middlesex, Whitewater in County Kildare and Ontario Tower, also in London.
