A tower in Sussex could be transformed into new offices if proposals are given the go-ahead.
The Argus has reported that Anston House in Brighton could be redeveloped with the help of office refit specialists.
Plans to reform the building, which has been vacant for 20 years, have been submitted to Brighton and Hove City Council and councillors are currently considering the proposals.
According to the newspaper, these include building a tower of between eight and 13 storeys, which will house retail facilities and residential properties as well as office space.
The remainder of the 1.5-acre site on Preston Road is also expected to be transformed into a further two towers and a number of town houses.
Sefton Council is also considering proposals to redevelop a building into office space after local businessman Mike McComb came up with the idea to regenerate a former pump house in Formby, reported Champion Newspapers.
