The attitudes of businesses towards sustainable office design in the UK are the best in the south-west of England, it has been revealed.
According to a recent survey carried out by Euroffice.co.uk, 95 per cent of respondents in this region said they were supportive of implementing green measures in the years ahead.
This compared to 70 per cent in the north-west and 75 per cent in the capital.
"Even the most basic things like energy-saving lightbulbs, ensuring PCs are switched off at night and taking public transport, all have their role to play in reducing carbon emissions," commented Simon Drakeford, chief executive officer of Euroffice.
Meanwhile, Maria Wardrobe, director of communications at National Energy Action, recently noted that a small change in the behaviour of individuals could help companies improve their sustainable office design credentials in the years ahead.
She argued that sustainable office design and responsible practices are moving toward the forefront of cutting back on carbon output for many firms.
