Green office fit-out company Morgan Lovell has put its advice into practice at its own office space in London, it has been revealed.
The company has completed work at its Noel Street property and has used many of the tenets of sustainable office design to deliver a working environment that is environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient and pleasant to work in, Green Build News reports.
Initiatives that have been key to creating a sustainable office design space at the site were the reusing of materials and products, or failing that sourcing these items as locally as possible.
Also, the firm removed individual bins for workers, instead replacing them with built-in recycling units to encourage more sustainable behaviour.
Meanwhile, Michael Shanks, chief technology officer at Ultraspeed, recently noted that many businesses are embracing sustainable office design and other green practices once more after the recent recession took many people's minds off these issues.
