Sustainable office design firm Morgan Lovell is holding a seminar on how to achieve the best BREEAM rating possible when carrying out an office fit-out.
Taking place at the British Ecological Society, Charles Darwin House in London on November 16th, the seminar is entitled Achieving A High BREEAM Rating In Older Buildings.
It will look at all stages of the design process and is being presented by Hazel Norman, executive director of the British Ecological Society.
David Henderson, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: "It is often thought that achieving a high BREEAM rating is only possible in new buildings, but this seminar shows it is possible to transform an older workplace into a model of sustainability."
Meanwhile, Dorking Business Centre recently underwent a £2 million office refurbishment project with a particular focus on boosting sustainability at the premises.
The installation of low-energy systems and upgraded air conditioning were just some of the new features the building now possesses, Office Broker reported.
