Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust has secured a letting at Terrace Hill's Manhattan Gate development in Teesside
The trust has signed a 15-year lease on the premises and will pay £635,000 per annum for 38,500 sq ft of modern office design space. The trust has secured the letting of the entire Hudson Quay 2 building, the second of the five office interiors to be completed.
Manhattan Gate forms part of the larger, 80-acre Middlehaven regeneration project which aims to redevelop much of the city centre and docklands of Middlesbrough.
Philip Leech, chief executive of Terrace Hill, said: "Our current emphasis in development is to focus on pre-let or pre-sold schemes, which is demonstrated by this pre-letting and those recently announced to Sainsbury's."
Elsewhere in the region, Yorkshire-based joint venture company Landmark Castlevale recently announced that it has received planning permission for the creation of new mixed-use office development in Wakefield.
The group plans to create office interior space that will be attractive to small businesses, with suites ranging in size from 750 to 2,500 sq ft.
