Free office space for overseas companies looking to relocate to London has been extended at the Avanta business centre in Devonshire Square.
Office industry portal Choregus has reported that the scheme - which is run by the official foreign direct investment agency Think London - aims to attract top businesses to the English capital by offering free, short-term office lettings.
"We believe that Think London provides invaluable assistance to international businesses looking to establish a base in London and we support their activities wholeheartedly," commented David Alberto, Avanta's managing director.
Elsewhere in the capital, Australian finance group Macquarie Bank recently announced that it is looking to secure office interior space in the city.
The firm is looking to undergo an office relocation and requires office interior space of more than 200,000 sq ft to house its staff.
Macquarie had previously looked to take up space in London back in February 2007 but at the time it was unable to find a suitable location.
