UK energy efficiency knocked
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

A major review by the International Energy Agency (IEA) has placed Britain near the bottom of a list of EU countries for its sustainable energy commitments, it has been revealed.
The UK was ranked 31st out of the 35 countries assessed in the report and registered only three per cent on the IEA's effectiveness indicator.
"Our renewables industry has been left to wither on the vine while our European neighbours have raced ahead, creating new jobs as well as fighting climate change and securing their energy supplies," said Jim Footner, senior climate campaigner at Greenpeace.
However, the Department for Business claimed not to have seen the report, but noted that at least the UK was not the only country singled out for criticism.
Meanwhile, a showcase event on green working practices is to be run tomorrow (October 7th) by Global Action Plan at BMA House in London.
The event aims to teach businesses how best handle their electrical usage for IT equipment in a bid to reduce CO2 emissions in the UK.
