Business services provider CEL has announced office relocation plans for 50 of its staff.
The company is moving half of its 100-striong workforce to a new headquarters in Warrington as part of plans to diversify its infrastructure.
IT, HR, sales and marketing divisions will all be relocated to Olympic Park, in Birchwood, Warrington, while the remainder of the firm's staff will continue to work in modern office design space at the company's present head office in Glossop.
Paul Kennedy, chief executive CEL, said: "Warrington was always going to be the location for CEL's new head office. Our move to Olympic Park will help us to continue the transformation of the business which started following the management buyout in December 2008."
Elsewhere in the region, office industry news portal Choregus recently argued that many businesses are being attracted to modern office design space in Liverpool because of the falling value of property in the area and the increased affordability which this brings.
