The first office sale at the White Towers complex in west London has been completed.
CB Richard Ellis Loan Servicing (CBRELS) has sold the office space for £60 million to property unit trust Welput. Situated at New Court on Carey Street, the rest of the project is receiving considerable interest, including Hammerson and Leadenhall Property.
A statement issued by CBRELS on the Irish Stock Exchange read: "Subject to the fulfilment of conditions of the contract, the sale is scheduled to close in time for the net proceeds of sale to be distributed on the next interest payment date."
Meanwhile, two new office projects in central London recently came closer to fruition after Land Securities amended its plans for the creation of 280,000 sq ft of new grade A office space in the city.
Planning permission for the project was originally withheld by local officials. However, changes to the scale of the project have meant the company can now get underway with this new office construction.
