International phone directory provider Yell has carried out an office relocation to new space at One Reading Central.
The company has taken on seven floors of the building, which has been rated as BREEAM Excellent.
Simon Taylor, head of property at Yell in the UK, said: "We needed to move for several reasons: we had outgrown the original building, we'd gone from having a few hundred staff to 1,500 and we were in four buildings which wasn't working very well."
He added that the firm could do little to modernise its former premises and, as such, felt the new property ticked all the boxes for the growing business.
Elsewhere in the region, the creation of up to 80,000 sq ft of new office space is expected to get underway at the Highbridge Park premises in Uxbridge during the coming 12 months.
The scheme is set to be completed by 2014 and is being carried out after Rockspring Property Investment Managers completed the purchase of land at the site.
