Yorkshire-based Eterniti Steels has announced plans to carry out a major office relocation project from its present base in England to Almondale's Europark Industrial Estate at Mossend near Bellshill in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The company has signed a three-year lease on 30,000 sq ft of modern office interior space at the development with a rent of £2.50 per sq ft, according to Property Executive.
Iain Mercer, group managing director of Almondale Investments, said: "This letting proves that if you are prepared to be flexible there are deals to be done at the right price despite us being in a deep recession."
Elsewhere in Scotland, mechanical services company EnerMech recently announced the relocation of its headquarters to Aberdeen following the signing of a 15-year lease on office interior space with Stewart Milne Developments.
Property Executive recently reported that the company has taken on 19,000 sq ft of modern office space, with an annual rent of £375,000.
