A fast countdown to a new office

Accountants can be notoriously busy people, so when Baker Tilly asked us to design and fit out their new Milton Keynes office, we knew time would be of the essence.

Thankfully, we thrive under pressure. We were given a tight deadline of six weeks to complete the project, so not a moment was wasted.

They decided that after years of working in cellular spaces, it was time to go open-plan. Understandably, this change in working environment worried a few of the more senior members. We put their minds at rest though, and compromised with several semi-private rooms, to ease them in gently.

The ‘L’ shaped building lent itself perfectly to another requirement that would keep the front and back of house separate. We made this possible by fitting the reception and meeting rooms – along with a large, flexible assembly space – in the top half, while keeping open plan areas in the bottom.
