Office relocation, design & fit out project in London

CDC wanted us to do two things for their new office: create a high-end, but cost-effective design; and to divide the space so part of it could be sub-let.
First, we tackled the divide. We had to install a new access point in the building’s atrium. This meant making structural changes from glass to wood, in keeping with the existing architecture. And getting special approval from the landlord was a time-consuming process, so we managed it all – it was one less thing for CDC to think about.
Our design team worked in collaboration with the client’s designers to create a brightened reception with high-gloss polyester lacquer and sand-blasted mirrors. We also worked hard to make clever use of lighting. For example, we installed a backlit ceiling in the reception to give the impression of natural light.
And what did their team think of the result? They said the answer was simple: “They love it!”.
