Embodying the brand in every square foot

We’ve all been on eBay. It’s the internet’s biggest, most fun shopping mall where you can buy anything. So, when eBay chose us to help them expand and re-fit their offices, it was like we’d won their biggest auction ever.

eBay wanted the same fun, informal flexibility in their office as on their website. We got working straight away; designing a café/bar area with Wagamama-style benches, a full games area with golf and pool, plus a lounge area with padded, sound-proof walls allowing staff to let their hair down during breaks. And, to really embody eBay’s spirit, we used a rainbow of vibrant colours and threw in some fun, creative features to represent the kinds of strange items you might find being sold on ebay – like full-size, red telephone boxes.
