Classic, simple design for pan African bank

Another company had recently vacated Ecobank Group’s new London head offices, so petitioning, furnishing and a full kitchen were already in place. The brief for Morgan Lovell, therefore, was to carry out a refurbishment, using the best of what was in place already, whilst staff carried on working on site.

A challenge for some but not our experienced design team who often have to work round staff members during office refurbishments.

Ecobank wanted to convey a sense of trust, solidity and integrity in their workspace. So we recommended a minimal colour palette alongside hard surfaces, timber and leather mixed with classic furniture design that doesn’t date. As requested, we kept some key elements from the previous occupiers but moved the petitioning to create larger, flexible working spaces that could be used by bigger teams of people.
