Office relocation, design & fit out project in Newcastle

Building morale as well as a new call centre space in the
North East
Newcastle has a very competitive call centre industry. Retaining staff can be very difficult – the smallest extra benefit can be vital. So making GE Money’s huge 102,650ft2 work place more exciting was pretty high up on the list.
But what’s inspiring to some, can be dull to others. That’s why we talked to GE’s employees and geared the redesign around them from the offset. Now, GE’s call centre staff have an office they can call theirs. Simple things like more daylight and zonal breakout areas have made a huge difference.
But perhaps most notably, our design has fundamentally changed GE’s business. Each team now sits in its own colour zones – a feature introduced to increase team spirit and fun, inter-team competition.
“Morgan Lovell is the right team for GE. The global CEO of GE Worldwide has even asked for photos to promote what we’ve achieved to a wider audience.”
