Father Ted, Have I Got News For You – Hat Trick is a serious player in the world of TV. And as serious players, they needed a serious office.

We quickly got under the skin of Hat Trick and discovered that their business is all about sight and sound. And not just the programs. From creative ideas to pre- and post-production meetings, communication is key.

Hat Trick wanted an area which opened out into a large, flexible space for auditions and TV show run-throughs. But that was just one episode of the whole Morgan Lovell production. We also created a communal eating area and a modern, open-plan office space to keep ideas flowing. In contrast, we also designed soundproofed ‘quiet’ rooms for writers needing mental space. We even harked back to TV’s history in our colour palette, using mainly black and white punctuated with stark colour.
