Office design & fit out project in London

TalkTalk wanted to move their head office away from sister company CarPhone Warehouse to establish their own identity. That meant sustainably fitting out a huge landmark building for 830 people up to ‘BREEAM’ standards.
No small job. But when it comes to sustainability, we’re not small time.
“Sustainability’s not our speciality and we looked for advice. With Morgan Lovell it was personal right from day one - everything we did had an environmental issue.”
Mark Flynn, Project Manager - TalkTalk
We implemented plans using sustainable materials and wove in extra sustainable measures wherever we could.
In the end, we reduced waste to landfill by 92%, incorporated a huge sub-metering programme using 24 wireless sub-meters to monitor gas, electricity and even water usage, and used FSC and PEFC timber - making it the first UK project where this wood was used extensively for both flooring and joinery. And for our efforts? The project received a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.
“We are immensely proud of the building and hope Morgan Lovell are too.”
Mark Flynn, Project Manager - TalkTalk
Don’t worry Mark, we are.
