How do you design, fit-out and relocate 360 people in just six weeks? Ask Visteon.

Visteon had a seemingly impossible task - to relocate their main centre of 360 employees to a new office that hadn’t even been designed, (never mind fitted-out), and be all up and running within six short weeks.

Impossible? There’s more. In addition, Visteon were downsizing from 100,000ft2 to 30,000ft2 - less than a third of the original space. So, it was critical that employees didn’t feel cramped in their new office.

How did Visteon do it? By handing the job to us, of course. We relish a good challenge and got cracking straight away. We designed clever workspace clusters using 120° desks to create a sense of community rather than crowding. And, to emphasise space, we transformed the communal area into an inspiring break-out and restaurant area.

Sticking to our ethos of teamwork, we also held regular meetings with Visteon throughout the fit-out to stay on top of any last minute changes, snags and logistics.

But did we meet the deadline? Of course we did.
