Morgan Lovell Project Gets Royal Seal of Approval
Office design projects
Published on 19.06.2009
HRH The Duke of York, KG, the UK's special representative for international trade and investment, officially opened Stiefel Laboratories' new Eurasia headquarters in Berkshire.
Designed and fit out by Morgan Lovell, the new 50,000 square foot office consolidates Stiefel Laboratories' research and development and commercial entities in the UK and helps further cement their objective to continue developing innovative skincare solutions and treat skin disorders.
HRH received a tour of the new offices in Maidenhead from Senior Vice President, Eurasia, Gabriel McGlynn and visited a photographic exhibition of Stiefel through its 160 year history.
Morgan Lovell designed the Eurasia headquarters with an environmentally friendly focus in mind and the fit out is carbon neutral. In recognition of this work the project was recently awarded a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method) certificate of ‘Very Good'.
Adrian Norman, head of design for Morgan Lovell, said: "The project for Stiefel was a great opportunity to create an office that not only looks fantastic, but is also good for the environment. We feel honoured to have had HRH The Duke of York there at the opening."
