We don’t just talk about it, we’ve incorporated sustainability right through our whole business.

Our own offices

Our headquarters in London is a model of sustainable office design and refurbishment. Not only has it achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, its environmental score is the highest awarded in a refurbishment project in the UK. ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is the standard for environmental management systems, another recognised and respected mark of our ongoing commitment to being more eco-friendly. Morgan Lovell has been fully accredited since July 2005 and is assessed regularly to maintain our status.

BREEAM and LEED accredited

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design's 'green building' rating system) are recognised environmental ratings systems worldwide. Many public sector organisations are required to comply with these standards - and many private companies choose to, because of their credibility. Morgan Lovell has 5 BREEAM accredited assessors on staff, as well as 3 LEED accredited designers.

The environmental team

We’re the only office interior design & build company in the UK to have its own environmental team in-house (not sub-contracted and yes it makes a difference). They’re always available to ensure that our work exceeds the status quo when it comes to sustainability. From sourcing FSC certified timber to waste management, our environmental team is there to ensure your project is truly ‘green’.

Our supply chain

All our subcontractors are chosen for their ability to meet certain environmental criteria and many of them are just as committed to the environment as we are. Our environmental team closely monitors their performance.

Our employees

Our people are passionate about sustainability; it’s one of the reasons they come to work for us (in addition to the great working environment). All of our people receive ongoing environmental training and some of them have received accreditation (as BREEAM, LEED or low carbon consultants). Each year, awards are given to our employees who do exceptional things in the area of sustainability.

The FTSE4Good index is the benchmark for listed companies that are committed to ethical business and socially responsible investment. As part of the Morgan Sindall group, we're proud to be part of the FTSE4Good index of responsible businesses.

CarbonNeutral

Really the icing on the cake, being CarbonNeutral is a way to help make up for the amount of carbon dioxide we release into the atmosphere, by funding environmental projects like planting sustainable forests or developing greener energy. We're proud to be a CarbonNeutral company, offsetting all our own emissions.
