Morgan Lovell celebrates onsite excellence with trio of industry awards that recognise best practice in public engagement, workforce welfare and reducing environmental impact.

Since 1999, the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) has been rewarding the UK's most considerate sites for the contribution they have made towards improving the image of construction. Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the scheme and agree to follow the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

Innovative measures are applauded by the judges and Morgan Lovell’s commitment to the Code of Best Practice took its site management to new heights last year. Appearance, community, environment and safety are key concerns for CCS, as it is for Morgan Lovell’s own specialist teams and clients.

Morgan Lovell projects named UK's most Considerate, Considerate Construction Scheme

2015’s exemplary projects include a 9,000 sq ft refurbishment in central London for asset management firm Long Harbour, a 75,000 sq ft fit out across two buildings in Reading for Prudential Assurance, and a 54,000 sq ft project in Uxbridge’s Stockley Park for biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences.

CCS Chairman Mike Petter commented on the day, saying: “It is our privilege to reward the efforts of all those involved in projects which set the bar in terms of considerate construction."

Morgan Lovell wins Nation Site Award, Considerate Construction Scheme

We never fail to be impressed each year by the high levels of innovation and excellence evidenced throughout the industry. Each award-winning project serves as a shining example to the industry as to what can be achieved across a range of different sized projects and in all sectors of the industry. My congratulations to all sites that have received a National Site Award.
