Bringing Soho House style to Milton Keynes

Soho House has launched its brand new office in Milton Keynes, creating a workspace that complements the Soho House aesthetic and meets the demands of a modern commercial environment.

Key features

  • High quality Cat B fit out
  • Multifunctional event space with concealed flexibility
  • Luxurious, residential style finishes and furnishings
  • Blend of vintage and contemporary furniture

Soho House, an international private members’ club, wanted an office that reflects its identity without overt branding. We created a workplace that balances functionality with character, through layered textures, rich colours and a timeless look.

Finery for front of house

The front of house sets the tone for the workspace, with a relaxed breakout lounge that doubles as a social hub, events space and client area. A curtain reveals a flexible room behind it, used for town halls, company updates and larger gatherings. Furniture is bold and varied, with a mix of seating styles that encourage different ways of working and meeting.

Instead of a traditional reception, a refined tea point provides a warm welcome for staff and visitors. The boardroom stands apart, with deeper tones and textured finishes that give it a more intimate feel.

The back of house is focused on day to day work, with desks, booths and meeting rooms. Throughout the space, white Crittall style glazing and pendant lighting draw a clear link to Soho House’s established aesthetic.

Creating a home from home

We worked closely with Soho House’s designers to ensure the look and feel stayed true to their established identity while meeting the needs of a commercial office. Vintage pieces, including credenzas, coffee tables and magazine stands, were introduced alongside contemporary furniture to create a layered, characterful environment.

Soho House through and through

The result is a workplace that brings Soho House’s signature style into a new setting. It gives their finance team a distinct home, supports collaboration and provides a setting that feels considered, comfortable and built to last.

Modern office interior with a clean, minimalist design. In the foreground, a white meeting table is surrounded by several light grey office chairs, with multiple green potted plants placed around the seating area. Large windows on the left let in natural light and show a street scene outside. The ceiling features exposed ductwork painted in a warm brown tone, contrasted with linear LED light strips. In the background, sheer white curtains partially divide the space, leading to a casual breakout area with high wooden stools and a counter. On the right side, a glass-partitioned room with a sliding door is visible. The overall space uses a mix of neutral colours, warm wood accents and indoor greenery to create a bright, contemporary workplace.
